Triumph's Scrambler 1200, 2024 lineup: Discover the new X variant and enhanced XE model

Delhi : In order to provide considerably more accessibility to a larger audience, the Scrambler 1200 X model has now replaced the XC variant. This is accomplished via the road-focused variant's lower, 820mm seat height, which may be further lowered with the 795mm auxiliary seat. Additionally, the Triumph Scrambler 1200 X's ergonomics are different from those of the XE due to its 2.56-inch smaller handlebar. Additionally, the XE receives adjustable foot levers and a 0.39-inch spacer. Overall, the Scrambler 1200 X is also narrower, shorter, and taller. Even the rake and trail are different, with the X having a 26.2-degree rake and 4.9-inch trail as opposed to the off-road-oriented XE's 26.9-degree rake and 5-inch trail. 

The identical 1200cc, parallel-twin engine that propels the Triumph Scrambler 1200 models produces 89bhp at 7000 rpm and 109Nm at 4250 rpm. Both the motorbike and the suspension are from Marzocchi, but they have been tuned to fit their distinct on- and off-road personalities. The XE, on the other hand, has complete adjustability and additional front travel while the rear on the X just has preload adjustment. 

The Scrambler 1200 XE's brakes consist of Nissin callipers at the back and Brembo Stylema shocks up front. Nissin callipers are used on the X at both ends. Nevertheless, the 1200 range of the 2024 Scrambler rides on wire-spoke wheels with aluminum rims. Metzeler Tourance tyres are mounted on the off-road-oriented XR, while Metzeler Karoo Street tyres are used on the X. 

By the end of the year or in the early months of 2024, Triumph is expected to start selling the redesigned 1200 Scrambler line in India, with a price somewhat higher than the outgoing variants.
