Delhi : KTM has revealed the 390 Duke in its 2024 iteration around the globe. This update has been highly anticipated for a while because it contains some significant changes. The motorcycle is anticipated to be on the Indian market sometime in the following year. Here are five things to be aware of with the KTM 390 Duke in 2024.
2024 KTM 390 Duke: Cosmetic changes
KTM has drastically altered the design language. The new 390 Duke appears beefier and more muscular than the previous version, which was more svelte. There are recent tank additions that stick out quite a bit. The Daytime Running Lamp is bigger and the Headlamp is newer. There is a new split seat configuration in the back, which has also undergone remodeling. The monoshock is now offset, and the exhaust now rests beneath the belly.
2024 KTM 390 Duke: New frame
The 390 Duke's frame has also been upgraded by KTM. It now has an entirely new sub-frame and steel trellis frame. They are constructed of aluminum that has been pressure die-cast. In addition to this, there is a new curved swingarm.
2024 KTM 390 Duke: New alloy and braking hardware
The 2024 390 Duke's braking system is based on the RC 390. It now comes with redesigned, lighter rotors. The front disc is 320 mm in diameter, while the rear disc is 240 mm. Additionally, the alloy wheels are lighter and feature fewer spokes. They also have RC 390 ancestry.
New features for the 2024 KTM 390 Duke
The 390 Duke now sports a number of additional features from KTM. It now has a Bluetooth-enabled 5-inch TFT screen with music control, incoming calls, and turn-by-turn navigation. Launch control, riding modes, a new Track Mode, SuperMoto ABS, Quickshifter, elf-cancelling indicators, a cruise control, and a speed limiter feature are other additions to the motorcycle.
2024 KTM 390 Duke: New motor
The engine was the major improvement that folks were looking forward to. 373 cubic centimeters have been replaced with 398 cubic centimeters. It now produces 39 Nm and 44.25 horsepower. It is still a 6-speed gearbox.
