Delhi : This year's second half will be highly exciting since several eagerly awaited motorbikes are about to come in India. The long-awaited bikes from major bike manufacturers, including Royal Enfield, Triumph-Bajaj, Harley Davidson, and KTM, are about to make their market debut. It's interesting to note that there will be many launches for different body types, including a street nude, a scrambler, and an adventure tourer. The majority of significant Indian festivals occur in the last few months of the year, hence two-wheeler manufacturers are likely to time their new introductions to coincide with these events in order to increase sales.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450

The brand-new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is without a doubt the most anticipated motorbike in India this year. The bike manufacturer has previously introduced the Super Metre 650, 2023 Interceptor 650, and 2023 Continental GT 650 in the nation while working on dozens of other motorcycles. However, the new Himalayan might cost up to Rs 2.70 lakh.

Returning to the Himalayan 450, the new adventure motorbike will have a new 450cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine and a new chassis.

All-LED lighting, a new TFT colour instrument dashboard, adjustable front and rear suspension, big disc brakes on both ends, dual-channel ABS, traction control, riding modes, a slipper clutch, and other features are expected to be the 2017 Himalayan 450's standout features. The Himalayan 450's production-ready test mule, however, has been observed many times, suggesting that its introduction is only a few months away.

Triumph-Bajaj Scrambler

A new scrambler is one of Triumph and Bajaj's most anticipated releases. A roadster-derived motorbike will also be added to the lineup; it is anticipated to have classic look. The new Triumph-Bajaj bikes (scrambler and roadster) will be unveiled to the world on June 27, 2023 in London, United Kingdom. Notably, Bajaj will produce both new Triumph motorcycles in its Chakan factory in Pune, Maharashtra.

The 400cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that will power the future Triumph-Bajaj scrambler and roadster is most likely going to be coupled to a six-speed gearbox. This engine had a power range of 35–45 PS and a torque range of 30–40 Nm. The scrambler may cost Rs 2.40-2.60 lakh, while the roadster is anticipated to cost Rs 2-2.50 lakh.

Harley-Davidson X440

The brand-new Harley-Davidson X440 will be the company's most inexpensive motorbike in India. The Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson-cocreated X440 is slated to launch in India on July 3, 2023. At Hero MotoCorp's Global Centre of Innovation and Technology in Jaipur, Rajasthan, there will be a two-day event. The Hero Motocorp facility in India will produce the Harley-Davidson X440 similarly to how the Triumph scrambler and roadster are made.

A 440cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine and six-speed gearbox are set to power the X440. Although the motorcycle's engine details are currently unavailable, a previously leaked image showed that it will be capable of redlining at 8,000 rpm.

KTM 390 Duke

Even though KTM just added three new varieties to the 390 Adventure lineup, the new generation 390 Duke will be the model that gets the most attention when it debuts in India. Significant design and technological improvements will be made to the streetfighter with the generation update. Not to mention that the brand-new 390 Duke has already been seen testing on several occasions both domestically and overseas.

The latest 390 Duke will feature a redesigned frame and sporty, aggressive styling. Additionally, a new user interface and an updated TFT colour display will be included. With modest modifications, the 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that powers the streetfighter is expected to produce more power and perform better. The new 390 Duke could be introduced by KTM India later this year.

At a dealer event in India, Yamaha India recently unveiled the much awaited YZF-R3. The Japanese bike manufacturer may first ship the R3 to India via the CBU method. Notably, the MT-03 and other motorcycles will likely be released with the YZF-R3 at some point in the upcoming months.

The Yamaha R3 has a commanding presence, a hostile expression, and a dynamic riding position. A 321cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with 42PS and 29.5Nm of torque powers the well-known sports bike. It has a single-disc layout up front and back, upside-down front forks, a completely digital instrument dashboard, and a rear monoshock.
