Delhi : The Indian auto industry is expanding rapidly, and several new automobile releases are making the rivalry more fierce than ever. Like every year, this year will see the introduction of several significant and intriguing new models.

As the first half of the year 2023 comes to a conclusion in June, we anticipate at least 3 significant automobile launches and debuts in India. Let's investigate them.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny

At the Auto Expo 2023, the business finally debuted the Jimny 5-door in India, ending the protracted search for a replacement for the Maruti Gipsy. The Jimny lifestyle SUV has a 1.5-liter petrol engine with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic gearbox that produces 105PS of power and 134Nm of peak torque.

AWD drivetrain and a short range gearbox are standard on the Jimny. Six airbags, a rear parking camera, LED headlights with washers, a 9-inch touchscreen interface, and many more amenities will be standard on the SUV. The Jimny is anticipated to cost around Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).

Honda Elevate

The brand-new Honda Elevate SUV will make its world debut on June 6 in India. After a long absence, a brand-new Honda vehicle will be unveiled in India, competing in the fiercely competitive midsized SUV market with various well-established vehicles like the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Grand Vitara.

The 1.5-liter iVTEC petrol engine from the City will power the Elevate SUV at first, but a powerful hybrid drivetrain is also anticipated in the future. Up to six airbags, a wireless charging pad, an electric sunroof, a large touchscreen interface, and likely ADAS technology will all be included in the Elevate's feature set.

Mercedes Benz AMG SL55

Mercedes Benz will be reintroducing the iconic 'SL' brand to India after more than ten years. In India, the brand-new Mercedes-Benz SL will debut in its powerful AMG 55 4MATIC+ guise.

The Mercedes-AMG SL55 will be proud of its recognisable design, top-notch materials and equipment, all-wheel drive, and rear-wheel steering. Its powerful 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which can propel it from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in only 3.9 seconds, will be at its core. It is anticipated to have an ex-showroom price of roughly Rs 2 crore.
