Delhi : VinFast Auto, an EV manufacturer located in Vietnam, is prepared to introduce its first EV to the Indian market in April 2024.

Starting with the VF e-34 crossover, an EV manufacturer that competes with Tesla aims to introduce 2-3 electric SUVs. It will probably be imported through the CBU channel.

Additionally, VinFast intends to export its VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs to India. According to the article, these would be put together locally. The company will thereafter release other models, including a full-size car.

In June of last year, the VinFast VF8 was first observed in India. The SUV features two motors that work together to produce 397 horsepower and 620 pound-feet of torque. The WLTP cycle estimates the SUV's maximum range to be 471 km.

For its upcoming branch in Gurugram, Vin Fast has already started hiring. It announced on LinkedIn last month that it was looking for dealer managers, managers of sales training, and specialists in service quality control.

In terms of market value, VinFast Auto, which was established in 2017, has recently surpassed Toyota and Nissan. Just 7,400 automobiles were sold by VinFast in Vietnam last year, but the company anticipates selling between 40,000 and 50,000 this year as it expands outside of the nation.
