Delhi : Honda's selection of four-wheelers has significantly decreased, and the company now sells just two sedans in the nation: the Amaze and the fifth-generation City. Honda is adopting a rather dangerous position by limiting its lineup to sedans alone, especially in a nation where the trend towards SUVs has been developing over time.

But Times Drive regulars will be aware that the company intends to introduce a mid-size SUV this month. The forthcoming SUV from Honda will compete directly with models like the Hyundai Creta and others. Honda is giving both the Amaze and the City discounts of up to Rs 17,000 for each vehicle.

Honda Amaze

For the month of April, the Honda Amaze sub-compact car is offered with a cash discount of up to Rs 10,000. (2023). Additionally, it is accessible with up to Rs. 4,000 in loyalty awards and up to Rs. 3,000 in business discounts.

The base-spec E trim level of the Honda Amaze costs Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the S trim costs Rs 7.66 lakh, and the VX trim costs Rs 8.78 lakh. (both ex-showroom, Delhi). Additionally, the S and VX trim levels both offer a CVT transmission option at a cost of Rs. 8.56 lakh and Rs. 9.60 lakh, respectively. (Both ex-showroom, Delhi).

Honda city

The 4th generation Honda City and the 5th generation Honda City were both on sale at the same time a short while ago. Honda has ceased production of the 4th generation City, and the 5th model is currently only offered with petrol and hybrid engines.

In terms of discounts, the Honda City will be offered in April 2023 with a Rs. 4000 loyalty incentive and an additional Rs. 6000 off for anyone purchasing the new City in exchange for an older Honda.

The Honda City's starting price for the basic SV trim variant is Rs 11.80 lakh. The most expensive ZX grade comes with a CVT transmission and costs Rs. 15.97 lakh. Overall, there are four trim levels for the Honda City: SV, V, VX, and ZX. Only the V, VX, and ZX trim levels come with the CVT option, while only the V and ZX trim levels come with the hybrid City.
