Countdown to launch: Hyundai Exter SUV production in full swing, arriving on July 10th
Delhi : Today, Hyundai Motor India began producing the Exter SUV at its Sriperumbudur facility in Tamil Nadu. On July 10, 2023, the business plans to introduce the brand-new Hyundai Exter. Customers who are interested may pre-book the SUV for a nominal fee of Rs 11,000 on the company's website or at any nationwide Hyundai shop. Hyundai will start Exter deliveries in early August 2023.
The Hyundai Exter's front fascia has an H-Signature LED DRL and a parametric front grill. The sub-4 metre SUV gets flared wheel arches and two-tone alloy wheels on the side. The SUV's rear has an upright tailboard with H-shaped LED illumination. Six airbags (driver, passenger, curtain, and side) and 26 safety measures will come standard on every Hyundai Exter model. Additional safety technologies including Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, and HAC (Hill Assist Control) will be included in the top-spec models.
The Hyundai Exter SUV will also include an electric sunroof and a built-in Dashcam with twin cameras. Furthermore, it is the first micro-SUV from Hyundai to provide more than 60 linked features through Hyundai BLUELINK, making it the most connected SUV in its class.
In terms of cost, the Hyundai Exter is anticipated to have a starting price of Rs. 6 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. Once it is released, Exter will compete with vehicles like the Tata Punch and the Maruti Suzuki Fronx.
