Delhi : New Delhi: MG Motor is getting ready to introduce the updated model of its well-liked small SUV, the MG Astor, to the Indian market. The teaser for the new Astor was recently unveiled by the British automaker. The MG SUV was the first SUV in India to be introduced with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features when it was originally introduced in 2011. Future SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will be competitors of the Astor.

The 2023 MG Astor facelift's teaser image gives the next SUV a subdued appearance. The business claims that the updated Astor will be the most technologically sophisticated SUV in its class. But it appears that the model that is now on the market is comparable to its design. According to reports, the redesigned Astor will have greater features.

MG Aster Facelift: The Most Advanced SUV

The MG Astor model from 2023 could offer the finest technological specs. It may have new software visuals and a big touchscreen infotainment system. The Astor, according to MG Motor, would provide a distinctive fusion of elegance and technology. It will surpass other SUVs in its class in terms of technology. The manufacturer has also made this SUV available in Havana Grey.

MG Aster Facelift: Anticipated Features

A 14-inch infotainment system, like the one featured on the facelifted Hector, may be standard on the MG Astor. The Astor now has an infotainment system with a 10.1-inch screen. It's also possible to add fresh visuals and software to the instrument cluster. It could take some special elements from the Hector SUV makeover.

MG Aster Facelift: Expected Specifications

The engine, however, could only see minor or no changes. The 1.5-liter petrol engine with normally aspirated fuel and the 1.3-liter petrol engine with turbocharged fuel may still be used by MG Motor. The turbo engine may be coupled to a 6-speed torque converter, while the 1.5-liter engine might be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The current pricing of the Astor is Rs 10.81 lakh for the base model and Rs 17 lakh for the highest-spec model, both ex-showroom.
