Delhi : Minister of Transport for Delhi Kailash Gahlot announced on Wednesday that the government of Delhi would announce its "Delhi Motor Vehicle Aggregator and Delivery Service Provider Scheme 2023."

After 2030, the plan mandates that all cars used by e-commerce aggregator platforms, service providers, and passengers must be electric vehicles. Within ninety days of the scheme's notification being published, the minister stated that all aggregators, both new and old, would have to get a licence.

He stated during a news conference that the plan will be informed later in the day.

In order to reduce pollution, the minister claimed that only the Kejriwal administration in the nation has implemented a plan that involves the widespread use of electric vehicles.

In response to public objections, Gahlot stated that rules will be created. Presently, the government has not addressed the problem of "surge pricing" enforced by app-based taxi aggregators.
