Delhi : The Himalayan 450 costs Rs 2.69 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes in four different configurations. A 452cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 40 Nm at 5,500 rpm and 39.5 BHP at 8,000 rpm powers the bike. Through the use of a slip-and-assist clutch, the engine is connected to a 6-speed gearbox.

The ADV has an adjustable monoshock at the back with 200 mm of travel and a 43 mm upside-down front fork with 200 mm of travel. With switchable ABS to assist them, the brake system consists of a single 320 mm disc up front and a 270 mm disc at the back.

The Himalayan 450 was introduced by Royal Enfield last week in India. By December 2023, the bike manufacturer will be ready to start shipping orders to customers.

In Royal Enfield's lineup, the Himalayan 411 is replaced by the Himalayan 450. Its rivals include the Yezdi Adventure, BMW G 310 GS, and KTM 390 Adventure.
