Fresh look, fresh drive: Hyundai Creta facelift nearing launch in India - Stay tuned
Delhi : Hyundai Creta remains the segment's best-seller and the Korean brand's best-selling model in India. Despite its last edition arriving in early 2020 and a plethora of younger rivals launching a challenge in the years since, Creta has retained its position of strength. And now, Hyundai may be planning to kick off 2024 with a bang by releasing the model's facelift.
Several spy images of the upgraded Creta on test runs, heavily camouflaged, have recently circulated on social media. Indications of a January debut have gained traction, with Hyundai confirming an event on January 16th, while details remain unknown.
Hyundai's current model portfolio is either new or was upgraded in 2023. Creta is the only model that has not yet been renewed in the current calendar year, despite the release of a special edition version.
The new Creta has the ability to galvanize the market and reclaim some of the ground gained by arch-rival Kia Seltos, which was considerably revised earlier this year. While Hyundai's sales momentum is strong, the redesigned Creta has the potential to dramatically increase these figures.
