Delhi : The new Comet EV Gamer Edition, a heavily customized version of the electric vehicle, was introduced to the market by MG Motor India. The new MG Comet EV Gamer Edition was created in partnership with Naman Mathur, commonly known as Mortal, one of India's best gamers. The all-electric vehicle offers new cabin features as well as aesthetic improvements to the outside and inside.

The new MG Comet Gamer Edition, which is centered around a gaming setup, costs a premium of 65,000 and may be added to any of the existing three trims (Pace, Play, or Push). Exterior improvements include unique wheel and door embellishments, side moldings with a gamer theme, wheel covers, and fog light garnish. The stickers on the B-pillar take their design cues from video game consoles. Additionally, there is a dual-tone paint option available in black and neon purple, with "Gamer" decals on the bonnet. The EV's roof is decorated with a huge Comet sticker.

Neon lights akin to those on the façade give the cabin a similarly hip visual upgrade. The steering wheel, dashboard, door trims, seat covers, carpets, and steering wheel all have gaming-themed upgrades. The Comet EV Gamer Edition uses the dependable 17.3 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 230 km, therefore there are no mechanical alterations to the vehicle. The lone electric motor produces 41 horsepower and 76 Nm of torque.

Prices for the MG Comet EV start at 7.98 lakh and go up to 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom). Its tallboy style and small size already make it a unique proposition. In the class, the electric hatchback competes against the Citroen E-C3 and Tata Tiago EV.
