Kia India introduces facelifted Seltos with enhanced features and new powertrain options
Delhi : The facelifted Seltos are now officially being reserved in the domestic market by Kia India for a symbolic payment of Rs. 25,000. The revamped midsize SUV was introduced by the South Korean car giant less than two weeks ago in India, and prices will be released at the end of the month. It receives a renovated interior and a remodelled exterior.
Along with the addition of a new powerplant, the equipment list has also been upgraded. By using a K-code, which is applicable to reservations made on Kia's website, customers can shorten the wait time. It can also be produced by current Seltos owners using the MyKia app or website. The X-Line, GT-Line, and Tech Line trim levels of the 2023 Kia Seltos will be available.
The Tech Line is divided into the HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, and HTX+ trims, while the GT Line receives the GTX+ trim and the X-Line version is available in a unique Matte Graphite colour. The 2023 Kia Seltos will be offered in the following colour options: Aurora Black Pearl, Imperial Blue, Intense Red, Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Pewter Olive, Glacier White Pearl With Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, and Intense Red With Aurora Black Pearl.
An updated 18-inch alloy wheel, redesigned front and rear bumpers, expanded LED DRLs, reworked headlights, inverted L-shaped LED tail lamps, a horizontal light bar and a modified tailboard are all part of the appearance. The inside receives redesigned HVAC vents and controls, a curved display holding the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster, etc.
The list of features includes a new sage green interior theme for the X-Line, a dual-tone black and white theme for the GT Line, a dual-pane sunroof, six airbags as a minimum requirement, TPMS, ESC, HAC, Level 2 ADAS technology, EPB, a 360-degree around view camera system, dual-zone automatic climate control, an eight-inch HUD, eight speakers from Bose audio and more.
Under the hood, a brand-new 1.5L turbo petrol engine with a maximum power output of 160 PS and a peak torque of 253 Nm joins the well-known 1.5L four-cylinder gasoline and 1.5L four-cylinder turbo diesel engines. The brand-new engine is mated to either a seven-speed DCT or a six-speed iMT.
