Kia launches 2023 Seltos in India starting at Rs. 10.9 lakh
Delhi : Kia Motors has finally revealed the Seltos' prices in India after first revealing the 2023 model. Starting from the showroom, it costs Rs. 10.9 lakh. The four-wheeler, which is available in seven trim levels, can be reserved online for just Rs. 25,000. Over 13,400 pre-orders for the redesigned SUV have already been placed with the carmaker.
Why is this tale significant?
- In India, the Kia Seltos, despite its high price, became one of the best-selling vehicles in its first year of production (2019).
- The Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Hyundai CRETA, two of its main rivals, have since undergone significant updates.

SUV is mounted on 18-inch upscale wheels
- The 2023 Kia Seltos maintains the shape of the previous model while adhering to the brand's contemporary design philosophy.
- The SUV has a chiselled bonnet, integrated DRLs in the sleek LED headlights, fog lamps that resemble ice cubes set on the bumper, the recognisable tiger-nose grille, auto-folding ORVMs, roof rails, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
- At the back, options include shark-fin antennas, roof-mounted spoilers, and connected-type LED taillamps.
It has a variety of engine options
The 1.5-liter normally aspirated petrol engine (113.4hp/144Nm), 1.5-liter diesel engine (113.4hp/250Nm), and new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine (160hp/253Nm) all power the 2023 Kia Seltos. The SUV has four different types of transmissions: a 6-speed manual, an iMT, a CVT, and a DCT gearbox.
It has front seats with ventilation and a Bose audio system. The inside of the 2023 Kia Seltos has a five-seater cockpit with a sporty yet opulent dual-tone dashboard and quality leatherette upholstery.
The SUV includes a voice-activated panoramic sunroof, linked car technology, ventilated front seats, a top-of-the-line Bose audio system, and two 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment system and driver's display. Six airbags and numerous Level-2 ADAS systems protect passengers.
Kia Seltos 2023 Price
The base HTE model of the 2023 Kia Seltos costs Rs. 10.9 lakh in India, while the top-of-the-line X Line trim costs Rs. 20 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). It can be reserved online or through local dealerships for the brand.
