Delhi : The updated Seltos has been on sale in numerous international regions since 2022, and Kia India will debut it in July of this year. Even the top-of-the-line X-Line prototype was recently spotted wearing camouflage. The redesigned midsize SUV test mules have been spotted on Indian roads several times over the past few months.

With the release of the significantly updated model, the Kia Seltos, which is now the second best-selling midsize SUV in the nation, hopes to have a significant influence. It will include cosmetic and interior updates to give it a renewed look, and a brand-new 1.5L turbo-petrol engine will be added to the lineup after making its debut in the new-generation Hyundai Verna and Alcazar.

The Hyundai Creta facelift, which will debut in early 2024, will use the same powertrain as well, it should be emphasised. A maximum power output of 160 PS and a maximum torque of 253 Nm may be produced by the petrol engine. It will have the option of being mated to either a six-speed iMT or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

The exterior will get a new tailboard, brand-new 17-inch alloy wheels, brand-new faux skid plate and more. It will also get an updated headlamp cluster, updated front and rear bumpers, a wider air inlet, updated LED tail lamps connected by a light bar and a revised front fascia with a new grille section and LED Daytime Running Lights. New colour schemes will be added by Kia as well.

The inside will receive a new digital instrument console that will seamlessly integrate with the 12.3-inch touchscreen entertainment system. This design is comparable to the Mahindra XUV700 and follows the most recent design trend. The centre console, dashboard, and HVAC vents will all be updated, and a new drive selector will also be installed.

The facelifted Seltos will probably be sold by the South Korean auto giant with ADAS-based driver-assistive and safety technology given the constantly increasing competition in the midsize SUV market. include wireless charging, six airbags, a panoramic sunroof, linked automobile technology, new surface finishes, etc.
