Delhi : Mahindra With its expanding popularity, Thar, the undeniable market leader, is poised to break all previous records with its next 5-door model. Do you know that Mahindra was the first automaker in India to develop a sub-compact or micro SUV? Although many people may know Mahindra as the manufacturer of the Thar, Scorpio, XUV700, and other SUVs. Currently, the micro SUV market is expanding in the nation, and every automaker is vying for a piece of the action. The Hyundai Exter SUV is the most recent competitor in the market, which was formerly dominated by Tata Punch. 

Tata Punch, Citroen C3, Renault Kiger, and other companies are thought to be the segment's major competitors, however the Mahindra KUV100 was the first automobile to compete in it. With a starting price of Rs. 4.42 lakh, the Mahindra KUV100 was introduced in 2016.

The Mahindra KUV100 was India's first compact SUV, and it paved the way for many more of these types of vehicles. It included a six-seat configuration, something that many vehicles currently lack. Despite having a number of novel features, the KUV100 didn't have the impact the business had hoped for. A few years after its initial release, the manufacturer redesigned the vehicle and gave it the moniker Mahindra KUV100 NXT.  The car has had various essential updates over the years and is still available for purchase on the market.

The Mahindra KUV100 NXT is available in four trim levels: K2+, K4+, K6+, and K8. It is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Mahindra KUV100 NXT now has a starting price of Rs 6.17 lakh (ex-showroom).
