Maruti launches 5-door Jimny SUV starting at ₹12.74 lakh
Delhi : Maruti released the pricing of the Jimny, its much anticipated SUV, on Wednesday. Six variations of the vehicle will be offered, with the base model beginning at 12.74 lakh (ex-showroom). Priced at 15.05 lakh (ex-showroom), the Jimny Alpha AT (Dual Tone) is the highest model available. In addition to increasing sales, Maruti anticipates that its new product will solidify its position as a dominant competitor in the quickly expanding sports utility vehicle market, where it is vying for the top spot.
The manufacturer anticipates that it will help other models like the Brezza, Fronx, and Grand Vitara take the top spot in the SUV market. The Jimny has a 1.5-liter petrol engine and is also available through a subscription plan, with monthly payments beginning at 33,550.
The Jimny will be offered in the following trim levels: Zeta MT (12.74 lakh), Zeta AT (13.94 lakh), Alpha MT (13.69 lakh), Alpha AT (14.89 lakh), and two dual tone models (13.85 lakh and 15.05 lakh), respectively. Everything is priced ex-showroom. The vehicle made its debut in January of this year at Auto Expo.
Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer (Sales and Marketing) of Maruti Suzuki India (MSI), stated to media weeks before to the car's formal introduction that Jimny will have a beneficial ripple impact on the industry as a whole.
