Maruti set to launch 2 all new cars: See what's in-store
Delhi : Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has launched a lot of new products. Two other brand-new models will be released in the coming months after the Fronx compact SUV coupe, which was already introduced this year. They have been covered in-depth in this article.
1. Maruti Suzuki Jimny:
The off-road lifestyle SUV made its world premiere at the 2023 Auto Expo in January alongside the Fronx. It has five doors. The Jimny will be introduced in India the following month, with an estimated price range of Rs. 10.5 lakh to Rs. 15 lakh (ex-showroom). It will only be offered at Nexa premium dealerships and be powered by a 1.5L four-cylinder petrol K15B engine.
A four-speed torque converter automatic gearbox will be available as an option. Suzuki's AllGrip Pro 4WD technology will be used as standard to distribute power to all four wheels from the engine. The future five-door Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
2. Maruti Suzuki Premium MPV:
The country's biggest automaker has declared that a three-row vehicle will be introduced sometime in the next two months. It will be the Toyota Innova Hycross modified with a different name. The cross-badged Maruti Suzuki version of the Hycross will be the brand's flagship model and has garnered positive reviews from customers.
The C-segment MPV will be positioned above the XL6, and Nexa stores all around the nation will sell it. The same TNGA-C chassis will support it, and amenities such a sizable touchscreen infotainment system with connection options, automatic climate control, cruise control, push-button start/stop, six airbags, etc. will be included.
The MPV will be driven by the same 2.0L four-cylinder naturally aspirated and 2.0L powerful hybrid petrol engines seen in the Hycross and may be offered in seven- and eight-seater configurations. The Grand Vitara midsize SUV is anticipated to have a significant influence on the exterior.
