Mercedes-AMG's Premium SUV launch G 63 Grand Edition: Now in India at ₹4 Crore
Delhi : The brand-new AMG G 63 Grand Edition from Mercedes-Benz India has gone on sale at a staggering 4 crore (ex-showroom, India). Of the rare 1,000 pieces produced worldwide, just 25 of the new limited-edition Mercedes-AMG G 63 Grand Edition are available in India. Mercedes-Benz won't sell you one unless you already own a Mercedes-Maybach, Mercedes-AMG, or the S-Class, so don't rush to the dealership right away to get your hands on the highly exclusive product.
As a result, just a small number of current customers remain as possible buyers for the new Mercedes-AMG G 63 Grand Edition. The new Grand Edition has gold-colored accents and is painted in the special Manufaktur night black magno. For the first time, it has the Mercedes star and the AMG emblem in Kalahari gold magno. The bonnet, which is likewise finished with Kalahari gold magno, bears the Affalterbach logo. In addition, the Grand Edition receives optical underride protection in the front, gold inlays in the front and rear bumpers, and the Mercedes Star on the spare wheel ring and inlay.
The Mercedes Star is also finished in tech gold, and the AMG G 63 Grand Edition has 22-inch AMG forged alloy wheels with a cross-spoke design that are finished in tech gold and have a matte black central locking nut. The AMG symbol is placed on the black door sills with lighted borders, giving the cabin the same black and gold look. Black Nappa leather is used for the seats, and contrast gold stitching is used. With gold edging recessed into the backrests, the AMG emblem is finished in that color. The floor mats have gold contrast stitching and are also black in color.
The roof grab handles are finished in Nappa leather on the Grand Edition, while the other inside trims are finished in carbon with copper thread. This raises the bar for attention to detail. The limited-edition SUV also comes with a Dinamica microfibre leather-wrapped AMG performance steering wheel with a G 63 badge. While the majority of the features of the new Grand Edition are pre-set, the manufacturer is providing a few adjustable choices that can be customized.
The Mercedes-AMG G 63 Grand Edition's familiar 4.0-liter V8 engine, which has been adjusted for 577 horsepower and 850 Nm of maximum torque, provides the vehicle's power. A top speed of 220 kmph is reached within 4.5 seconds from 0 to 100 kmph. The AMG G 63 Grand Edition will start being delivered by Mercedes-Benz India in the first quarter of 2024.
