MG Comet EV Bookings Open Today, Deliveries to Commence Later this Month
Delhi : Bookings for the MG Comet EV in the Indian market have officially started today thanks to MG Motor India. Customers may now reserve the Comet EV for an initial payment of Rs 11,000 at the MG dealerships or on the official website. Only this month will the Comet EV start to be delivered.
Additionally, the business has included 'Track and Trace' functionality to the 'MyMG' software, enabling users to check the status of their reserved MG Comet EVs from their smartphones. An ownership package called MG e-Shield that covers maintenance and repairs is offered for the MG Comet EV. This bundle includes
- 3-year or 100,000-mile warranty
- Roadside Assistance (RSA) for three years
- First three planned services are free labour for three hours.
The guarantee for the 17.3 kWh Li-ion battery is 8 years or 1 lakh 20 000 kilometres. A total of 80 extended warranty & service options, beginning at just Rs 5,000, are also available for the MG Comet EV. Priced at Rs 7.98 lakh for the Pace variant and going up to Rs 9.98 lakh for the Plush variant (both prices are ex-showroom), MG Motor recently debuted the Comet EV. Only the first 5,000 reservations will be able to take advantage of these introductory discounts.
According to the official statement, MG is also providing clients with an optional buy-back programme that guarantees a buyback of 60% of the original ex-showroom value* after three years.
Additional easy service options for the MG Comet EV models include DIY via the My MG App, Service on call (Remote Assistance), Service at Home, and pickup/dropoff service, it was stated.
"MG Comet EV was created with the intention of meeting the unique demands of urban Indian consumers. With the industry's first Track & Trace function from MG, we hope to put an end to our customers' never-ending struggle to find out the status of their car reservation. Customer ownership of an MG Comet will be possible very soon, according to Gaurav Gupta, Deputy Managing Director of MG Motor India.
