Delhi : The forthcoming Comet electric vehicle (EV) from MG Motor India is a cheap EV. The MG Comet EV should cost between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15 lakh in India.

With prices ranging from Rs 22.98 lakh to Rs 27 lakh, the business already offers the ZS EV in India (ex-showroom). The Hyundai Kona Electric and BYD Atto 3 compete with the MG ZS EV, among others.

The Wuling Air EV, which is offered on the Indonesian market, is visually similar to the MG Comet EV in appearance. A 25kWh battery and a 50kW motor may be combined for the MG Comet EV.

With a single charge, the MG Comet EV's range is predicted to be between 200 and 300 kilometres. Regarding features, we anticipate the MG Comet EV will have a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and linked vehicle technologies.

The Tata Tiago.ev and the brand-new Citroen e-C3 will compete against the MG Comet EV in India. The e-C3 costs between Rs. 11.50 lakh and Rs. 12.43 lakh, whereas the Tiago.ev is priced between Rs. 8.69 lakh and Rs. 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom) (ex-showroom).

The Comet EV, according to MG, is named after the renowned British aircraft that competed in the 1934 England-Australia MacRobertson Air Race.

The 2023 MG Hector was just introduced by the manufacturer in India. The SUV, which ranges in price from Rs 14.72 lakh to Rs 22.42 lakh (ex-showroom), incorporates ADAS level 2 technology.

In India, MG presently offers the Astor, Hector, Gloster, and ZS EV. The company's fifth model will be the Comet EV.
