New Innova Hycross: Toyota finally starts its deliveries, check details

Delhi : The latest generation Toyota Innova Hycross's pricing were made public in December, and now shipping has begun. Bookings are now available for the symbolic sum of Rs. 50,000. 

Only petrol and strong-hybrid powertrains with CVT automatic gearboxes are available for the Innova Hycross. The latter has a hybrid 2-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor that is rated at 186 PS (combined) and boasts fuel efficiency estimates of up to 21.1 kmpl. The 2-liter naturally aspirated engine with 174PS and 205Nm is available in the lower-spec models.

The new Innova from Toyota is available in six- and seven-seater configurations, with the top-spec model including Ottoman seats with extended leg support for the second row. A 10-inch touchscreen, dual zone climate control, heated front seats, a digital driver's display, and a panoramic sunroof are just a few of the comforts that the MPV is equipped with.

Up to six airbags, a 360-degree parking camera, hill hold control, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold function are among the safety features. The Innova comes equipped with ADAS as well, including lane-keep assistance, adaptive cruise control, high beam assistance, and automatic emergency braking.

The Hycross serves as a substitute for the Kia Carens, Carnival, Mahindra Marazzo, Tata Safari, and Mahindra XUV700 and similarly lacks direct opposition to the Crysta. Toyota has also reopened the Innova Crysta reservations, which will only be available in the diesel-manual version when it returns. Prices range from Rs 18.3 lakh to Rs 28.97 lakh for the Innova Hycross (ex-showroom, Delhi).
