Delhi : Updates to the Nissan Magnite small SUV include the addition of more advanced safety equipment as standard equipment and compliance with the impending Real Driving Emissions (RDE) standards. These upgrades include the now-standard Hill Start Assist (HSA), Hydraulic Brake Assist (HBA), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), and Hydraulic Brake Assist (HSA).

Nissan has updated the Magnite SUV and taken away some features in the process. For instance, LED fog lights, which are only available on the top-spec XV Premium, are no longer standard on the XV model. The front tweeters and rear parcel shelf have also been removed from the mid-spec XL model. The Magnite costs between 5.97 lakh and 10.94 lakh rupees, however these are anticipated to change with the upgrade.

ESC, Traction Control, and Hill-Start Assist were previously only available on the turbo-petrol versions of the Magnite, while the tyre pressure monitoring system was only offered on the higher models of both the turbo and normally aspirated versions of the tiny SUV. All of these active safety measures are now standard with this upgrade, even on the lowest XE model. Subsequently, similar safety elements were included as standard equipment on the Renault Kiger, a vehicle that is related to the Magnite.

It is interesting that several of its rivals, like the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Renault Kiger, have at least four airbags on their higher models whereas the Magnite still only has twin front airbags. Moreover, Nissan has not yet made ISOFIX child-seat mounts a requirement for the whole Magnite lineup.
