Delhi : 2023 Yamaha Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid, which has new features and technical improvements, was unveiled by Yamaha. Second-generation on-board self-diagnostic (OBD-2) and E20 compliant 125cc engine.

To comply with the new OBD-2 or RDE requirements that will go into effect on April 1, 2023, Yamaha has modified the 125cc engine. All three of these scooters' engines are compatible with the BS6 Phase 2 revisions. This has been run on E-20 fuel. Let us inform you that as of April 1, new regulations affecting engines will be issued by the government. The scooter's engines were also installed, and they adhere to new standards.

Connectivity features of the Yamaha Ray ZR 125 Fi

The Wi-Connect software enables Bluetooth connectivity for the Ray ZR 125. After the smartphone and scooter are connected, phone notifications, including call, SMS, and email alerts, phone battery display, and app connectivity status, are sent to the instrument cluster. Other smart features include a Wi-Connect app fuel use tracker, maintenance warning, last parking location, and notification.

Because it has a stop and start mechanism as standard equipment, the Ray ZR is referred to as a hybrid. It shuts the engine's power when the scooter stops. Hence, this method lowers gasoline usage. During start-stop, slow-moving, or uphill riding, the SMG and Intelligent Power Assist both generate power from the electric motor.

Moreover, the scooter has a unified braking system (UBS) that offers stronger stopping force. The front brakes are automatically engaged when the rear brakes are used, improving braking control.

Storage capacity for the Yamaha Ray ZR 125

The Ray ZR 125 boasts a 5.2-liter gasoline tank, a 21-liter under-seat storage compartment, and a weight of under 99 kg. The Yamaha scooter has a 145 mm ground clearance. The Ray ZR 125 has rear monoshock suspension and front telescopic forks. The scooter has a 190mm drum brake or 190mm disc brake up front. The front tyre is a 90/90-12, while the back tyre is a 110/90-10.

Pricing and Models for the 2023 Yamaha Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid

There are two versions of the Ray ZR 125: Normal and Street Rally. While the Disc version provides two more colours, Racing Blue and Dark Matte Blue, the other two colour selections are Cyan Blue, Metallic Black, and Matte Red. The Street Rally front disc brake is a standard feature on the Ray ZR Rally, which is also offered in three colour choices: Matt Copper, Matt Black, and Light Gray Vermilion.
