Delhi : Renault, a French automaker, is developing a number of new items specifically for the Indian market. In 2024–2025, the business will release the Kwid electric on our market. A new B-segment SUV that will compete with models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and others is also in the works. The third generation Duster SUV, which is expected to make its global debut sometime in 2024, is most likely to be the new B-segment SUV.

Renault will make significant modifications to its current vehicles, such as the Kwid, Kiger, and Triber, in addition to the new Kwid EV and the Duster. Significant interior improvements and design adjustments will be made to all three models. Renault's upgraded Kwid, Kiger, and Triber models are slated to go on sale in 2024. The manufacturer plans to include 6 airbags as standard equipment, thus the new vehicles will also have an improved safety rating.

More features and a more potent engine are anticipated for the Triber 3-row MPV. The Kiger's 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine is most likely to power it. This engine produces 160Nm of torque and 99bhp. Additionally, the Triber lineup is anticipated to gain a CVT gearbox option.

The 26.8kWh Li-ion battery pack in the Kwid EV (Dacia Spring) boasts a claimed certified range of 225 kilometers on a single charge. It has a single electric motor up front that produces 125Nm and 45bhp. The Tata Tiago EV and MG Comet will be competitors of the Kwid EV in India. Renault is also developing an electric version of the Kiger SUV, which is another development.

In our market, the next-generation Duster is anticipated to debut in 2025. Dacia has already begun testing the new Duster in Europe. Its base will be the new CMF-B modular architecture, and it will expand in size. Additionally, Renault India will unveil a brand-new 7-seater SUV built on the brand-new CMF-B platform. Renault has stated that it will offer gasoline, e20, and electric powertrains in India. A petrol engine might be added to the new Duster, and an EV model might be added later.
