Delhi : On September 4, Honda will officially introduce the long-awaited Elevate SUV. Static display cars have already begun arriving at Honda dealerships all throughout the country, and the enthusiasm is evident. The Elevate is poised to make a significant foray into the rapidly growing midsize SUV market with the announcement of its impending arrival. It will compete with vehicles like the Maruti Grand Vitara, the Kia Soul, and the Hyundai Creta.

Honda Elevate: Available Powertrains

The Elevate made its international premiere in the Indian market back in July, and it has now successfully undergone homologation, indicating that it is now ready for public consumption. In addition, the celebrated Honda City and the Elevate share the same versatile powertrain options. A potent 1.5-liter petrol engine under the hood produces an outstanding 121 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. This engine's choice of transmissions includes a smooth 7-speed CVT automatic transmission or a sporty 6-speed manual.

Even if Honda's dedication to innovation is demonstrated by the Elevate, it's important to note that this SUV will not be equipped with a petrol-hybrid drivetrain. Honda fans shouldn't worry, though, as the company is laying the groundwork for an all-electric SUV to become popular in the future.

Honda Elevate: Expected Mileage

The Elevate performs admirably in terms of fuel economy. The CVT version reportedly produces a similarly outstanding 16.92 kpl, while the manual version reportedly delivers a commendable 15.31 kpl.

Dimensions of the Honda Elevate

The forthcoming Elevate measures 4,312mm in length, 1,790mm in width, and 1,650mm in height. A pleasant and confident drive is also guaranteed by its spacious 2,650mm wheelbase and segment-leading 220mm ground clearance.

Honda Elevate: Variants

There are four separate trims available in the Elevate lineup: SV, V, VX, and ZX. Exceptional features included by the base SV model include automatic climate control, 16-inch steel wheels, and dual front airbags for increased safety.

The Elevate ZX offers a variety of high-end features for customers looking for the ultimate driving experience. Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), eight premium speakers, a stunning 10.25-inch touchscreen, a staggering array of six airbags, a stylish single-pane sunroof, plush brown leatherette upholstery, a velvety soft-touch dashboard, and an auto-dimming interior mirror are all featured in this top-tier trim. The ZX model distinguishes itself even more by providing an attractive Phoenix Orange exterior paint hue and possible dual-tone color options.

Expected Price for a Honda Elevate

The eagerly awaited Honda Elevate test drives are ready to start. The projected starting price will be approximately Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom), according to insiders at the dealership.
