Delhi : Skoda Auto India increased sales by 125% in 2022 over the previous year, selling 53,721 automobiles as opposed to 23,858 units. In comparison to December 2021, when 3,234 units were sold, 4,788 units were sold in December 2022, representing a 48% increase in sales volume.

The firm has exceeded the goal of 225 sales and service touchpoints and has reached the apex of its India 2.0 effort, having over 240 client touchpoints nationally. The firm intends to maintain momentum on the customer centricity and customer satisfaction fronts of India 2.0 by expanding its network and fostering a tighter relationship with its customers.

The company has also entirely digitalized its showrooms with immersive and interactive technology that transforms the car-buying experience for its customers. The Kushaq, which got a flawless 5-star safety rating in the most current crash test performed by the Global New Car Assessment Programme, was another success for Skoda this year. Despite having a flawless 5-star rating for both adult and child safety, the SUV is still the safest car.

Due in part to the Skoda Slavia, the premium mid-size car segment has enjoyed double-digit sales growth.

India is now Skoda's third-largest market after China. Skoda sold more automobiles in India than it did in China in the first 10 months of this year. Given that Kushaq emerged as the first model from the MQB-A0-IN platform, which enables for up to 95% of the parts to be localized, the Czechs may have profited from a renewed focus under the India 2.0 programme.

The business additionally claims that it has worked to save maintenance expenses while expanding its nationwide sales and service network.
