Spied: Hyundai's upcoming compact SUV in Coimbatore

Coimbatore : All set to make a debut in India next year, an upcoming subcompact SUV from Hyundai was caught on the roads of Coimbatore. The car is likely to share the architecture from Hyundai i20 hatchback, the i20 Active crossover and Hyundai Creta.

According to reports, the new Hyundai compact SUV will have the same mechanics offered in i20 hatchback but with a new bodyshell. It is also likely to be studded with even more premium interiors and added comfort for both the driver and passenger.

The car will be in direct competition with market leader Vitara Brezza by Maruti Suzuki. In order to become market leader, Hyundai and Kia will jointly launch a range on new cars in India by 2022.
