Delhi : Today, MG Motors will formally introduce the new Comet EV to the Indian market. The mini automobile has been seen testing on public roads before its official debut. Bright green was the colour of the small automobile. After the ZS EV, this will be MG's second electric vehicle offering in the Indian market.

There will be a two-door and four-door variant of the Comet EV. A smaller variation of the same model is also offered in foreign countries. The Indian market, however, is most likely to receive just one version. Even the MG Comet EV in white was observed on the road.

A vast number of features will be included with the new Comet EV. Massive dual 10.25-inch screens will be installed in the car and serve as both the infotainment system and the driver's display. Keyless entry, hill-start, an electronic parking brake, connected automobile technology, and an automatic climate control system are among the additional amenities on the list.

The new MG Comet EV is propelled by an electric motor with a maximum power output of 41 PS. The battery pack has a 17.3 kWh capacity. However, a battery pack with a 26.7 kWh capacity is also possible. Depending on the battery type, the Comet EV will have a range of 200 to 300 kilometres. Today, MG will formally reveal the car's specifications.

India's smallest automobile is for sale

The Wuling Air EV, which is already offered in Indonesia, is the foundation for the future MG Comet. The Comet, on the other hand, will be this car's model that MG will introduce specifically for India. The Comet will just be 2.9 metres long, have three doors, and seat four people.

As a result, it will be the smallest four-wheeled vehicle in India. The Comet will have a long 2,010mm wheelbase, an electric skateboard design, and a boxy shape that will make it space-efficient despite its size. A tall, stubby snout, a wraparound strip with LED lighting elements that extends to the windscreen, and a two-tone front fascia are all part of the exterior design.
