Delhi : The INDIA 2.0 programme from Skoda VW also includes the Kushaq and Slavia as well as Virtus and Taigun. The MQB A0 IN platform has proven its worth by earning a 5 stars crash rating from GNCAP across the range. The programme aims to develop a premium automotive experience for India. Updates on the Volkswagen Virtus and Taigun

There are currently seven variations of the Virtus sedan, up from six earlier. There are presently nine Taigun versions (not counting limited editions). All Virtus and Taigun variations, which were recently introduced with the Skoda Slavia and Kushaq, will include the Lava Blue colour.

VW GT Edge Collection

In June 2023, Volkswagen will debut the GT Edge line, which includes the Virtus and Taigun. It will have a 1.5L TSI engine and be offered with both manual and DSG gearbox options. There are only a few GT Edges in existence. It has two colours: Carbon Steel Matte with Taigun and Deep Black Pearl with Virtus. The public will learn more in June 2023.

Trail and sport concepts developed by Taigun

With the Volkswagen Taigun, there are two limited edition models: Trail Concept and Sport Concept. 'Coming soon' was the only reference made in the presentation. There was no schedule for the rollout. Sport Concept will have a DSG option, while Trail Concept will only have an MT transmission. The Trail concept will come with a plethora of outdoor-themed accessories, including roof racks, thicker cladding, and more.

With Virtus and Taigun, Volkswagen offers two variation lineups: Dynamic Line and Performance Line. With Virtus and Taigun, the Dynamic Line trims include the Comfort Line, High Line, and Top Line. The GT and GT Plus trims with Taigun and the GT Plus trim with Virtus are part of the Performance Line.

The top-tier GT and GT Plus models come with a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine that produces 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque. All trim levels now have manual and DSG choices, just as their Skoda counterparts, thanks to a recent upgrade.
