Delhi : Currently, Nissan's main product in India is the sub-compact SUV, the Kiger, and the Japanese carmaker has virtually little presence there. Nonetheless, the organisation is quietly developing many strategies to enhance its market presence in India. In the upcoming years, it plans to introduce five new SUVs in India alongside its sister brand, Renault. In the near future, which SUVs will Nissan be selling in India? Well, you'll have to continue reading for that. This is a list of the SUVs that Nissan India intends to introduce.

Facelift for Magnite: Late 2024

First, the officials is going to completely revamp the Magnite, the only and best-selling sub-compact SUV in India. This makeover is expected to appear in late 2024, according to sources. The firm hopes to significantly expand its market share in addition to providing the model with a visual boost with this makeover. In an effort to broaden its market reach, the business will also launch a left-hand drive Magnite for exportation to new overseas markets.

New Nisaan compact SUV: 2025

The company's next move is to enter the already congested mid-size SUV market. Right now, the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara are the class leaders. Nissan has been working on a brand-new midsize SUV that will debut in 2025 and take cues from the recently unveiled Duster. It used to have the Terrano, which was also constructed using the same idea. This SUV will be constructed on the CMF-B platform and share many of its essential parts with the Duster. In the midsize SUV market, this vehicle is positioned to be a formidable rival. It would reportedly be produced in Chennai alongside the Duster, according to reports.

Seven-Seat SUV: Release schedule will be confirmed

The precise date of this bigger seven-seat SUV's introduction is still unknown at this time. What is certain, though, is that it will be built around the Bigger SUV, a three-row vehicle. This SUV is positioned to compete with vehicles such as the Hyundai Alcazar and Tata Safari. It is simply a longer version of the company's previously stated mid-size SUV.

New Three-Row MPV: Release schedule will be disclosed

Plans for this specific mass-market, brand-new, three-row compact MPV have been in place for a while. Based on the well-known Renault Triber, this MPV would be constructed in Chennai alongside it. Similar to the Triber, this MPV will provide an economical substitute with smart three-row seating. It will be positioned just below the Magnite in the Nissan range. Customers in the mass market who value price and practicality will be its primary target audience.

Entry-Level EV: A release schedule will be disclosed

A reasonably priced all-electric SUV that is being co-developed by Nissan and Renault is the sixth SUV in the works. CMF-AEV will serve as the foundation for an entry-level electric SUV. The product is being produced for a worldwide market, and both brands will provide their distinct versions of it. These manufacturers don't currently provide any electric cars in India.
