Tata Altroz beats Hyundai Elite i20 in June 2020 sales

New Delhi : The premium hatchback segment is the cake in India everyone wants to taste and if we talk about the sales, Baleno continues to enjoy the top spot despite severe decline in sale figures due to the coronavirus lockdowns.

Currently, the competition stands between Altroz, Elite i20 and Baleno. 

In the month of June, Baleno sold 4,300 units to take the top spot, Altroz registered 3,104 sales on the second spot and the third spot went to Hyundai elite i20 with sale of 2,718 units.

Though this month was a little slow for elite i20, this picture may soon change as the company is due to launch the updated next generation model in the coming months.

The third-gen Elite i20 is based on the latest Euro-spec model and it gets redesigned front grille, new bumper, more aggressive air inlets, new alloy wheels, upgraded rear end with new tail lamps and so on.

The car will get new technical updates and latest connectivity features like BlueLink.
