Tesla introduces enhanced Model 3: Improved design and extended driving range

Delhi : The popular Model 3 sedan has been updated by top EV manufacturer Tesla with a sleeker appearance and a greater range. Since the release of the Model Y in 2020, this is the first new or updated vehicle produced by the Elon Musk-led corporation. The updated Model 3 would have an upgraded acoustic system, a more comfortable cabin, and a display for passengers in the backseat.

An increase of almost 9% over the previous generation, the upgraded Model 3 now has a range of 606 kilometers on a single charge. The new model has better external styling, a sportier appearance, and two new color options: Stealth Grey and Ultra Red. 

The new Model 3 will cost 2,59,000 yuan, which is equivalent to $35,800, in China. This is a more than 13% increase from the cost of the previous iteration, which was 2,31,900 yuan. Orders for the brand-new Model 3 can be placed in Australia, China, Europe, and the Middle East. While deliveries for the Model 3 are anticipated to start in January of next year, Tesla has promised that they will start in the fourth quarter. 

The Model 3's release in China and other export destinations for Tesla from its center of production raises the possibility that the Shanghai factory of the business would produce the new vehicle first. The manufacturer of electric vehicles announced that it will also display the new Model 3 at the auto show in Munich, where numerous German automakers, including Volkswagen and Mercedes, are anticipated to reveal a number of new EVs.
