Delhi : As India's holiday season gets underway, Kia India has launched new Carens variations. There will be two more variations of the Carens X-Line, the new variety. With pricing starting at Rs 18.95 lakh and reaching as high as Rs 19.44 lakh, it is the most expensive MPV model available. It costs roughly Rs 54,000 more than the comparable Luxury Plus model because of this.

Kia Carens

In February 2022, the Kia Carens was released on the Indian market with an initial pricing of Rs 8.99 lakh. In April 2022, the pricing of the whole Kia Carens portfolio were increased, with some versions seeing significant price increases of up to Rs 70,000. A 1.5-liter normally aspirated 115 PS petrol engine, a 1.4-liter turbocharged 140 PS petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter 115 PS diesel engine are the three engine options for the Kia Carens that are offered in India.

It has a long list of features, including roof-mounted AC vents for the second and third rows, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an air purifier, and Kia Connect telematics. By including six airbags, electronic stability control, hill descent control, hill start aid, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and all-wheel disc brakes as standard equipment, Kia has made a significant impact in the safety features department.

The Seltos compact SUV was the first vehicle to offer the X-Line trim, and the Sonet subcompact SUV followed suit later. It incorporates a new interior motif and gives the exterior design a matte stealth finish. There will only be a six-seater version of the Carens X-Line available.

The Carens X-Line's exterior now has new "Xclusive Matte Graphite" paint. The "Xclusive Two-Tone Black and Splendid Sage Green" motif is carried out inside the vehicle. The seats, armrests, steering wheel, and cover of the gear lever all feature distinctive, contrasting orange stitching.

Rear seat entertainment is also available with the X-Line model, but not with any other variations. Access to choices like screen mirroring, podcasts, and a number of other entertainment and news apps is made possible by these new capabilities. A smartphone app may also be used to control the back displays.

Other premium amenities that are also available with the Luxury Plus trim are included in the X-Line version. It includes all the properties that are already included in the Carens model's highest-specified variation.
