Delhi : Toyota has scheduled the Tokyo Motor show, commonly referred to as the Japan Mobility exhibition, where it will present its future Land Cruiser Se EV SUV concept. Alongside the previously revealed Toyota FT-Se sportscar and FT-3E born EV SUV ideas, the Land Cruiser Se concept will also be on display.

Toyota Land Cruiser SE design: a sneak peek at an upcoming urban SUV

Toyota has been adding models to its Century, Crown, and Land Cruiser lineup. Earlier this year, the company unveiled the brand-new Land Crusier Prado, which will be available for purchase in North America as the Land Cruiser 250. The Land Cruiser SUV's futuristic born-EV idea has now been unveiled by the firm.

This eye-catching idea is essentially a futuristic, rakish three-row SUV that deviates from the Land Cruiser brand in terms of style. The new Land Cruiser Se EV concept is characterized by characteristics that align it with Toyota's modern design language and evidently focuses greater attention on aerodynamic efficiency.

The most visible differences between the Land Cruiser Se and other Land Cruiser models are the tilted bonnet and strongly sculpted flanks, but low-profile tires, slimline wraparound light bars, and rear-view cameras all allude to a more openly opulent billing.

The "lifestyle"-focused FT-3E SUV concept Toyota unveiled last week appears to share several cues with this vehicle, including creased haunches, a kinked window line, and contrasting lower trim. This suggests that the two vehicles will be technical siblings with similar styling cues, interior layouts, and performance figures.

Toyota Land Cruiser SE specs and manufacturing

The Land Cruiser Se concept is similar to the full-sized Land Cruiser SUVs that are now offered worldwide in that it is 5,150mm long, 1,990mm wide, 1,705mm height, and has a wheelbase of 3,050mm.

The Land Cruiser Se concept, which is also redesigned, does away with the ladder frame platform in favor of a more traditional monocoque that is supposedly built around Toyota's next-generation EV architecture. This is meant to provide "extremely responsive handling and confidence in tackling tough terrain."

Viewers may see Toyota's next-generation electric car lineup at its Tokyo show booth, which will debut in 2026. It is anticipated that models FT-SE, FT-3E, and Land Cruiser Se will become production vehicles within this range.

Toyota emphasizes that the seven-seater idea "caters to the world's diverse needs" and "broadens the Land Cruiser brand's appeal." It can travel silently and pleasantly in urban areas as well as "other on-road situations."
