Delhi : In India, a plethora of new automobiles are launched each month, and July is no exception. Three much awaited new models will be introduced throughout the nation in July. Popular automakers Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Kia Motors India, and Hyundai Motor India will all have new models on the list. Here is a list of the vehicles that will be entering the Indian automotive market in July if you're looking to purchase a new vehicle.

Maruti Suzuki Invicto

The most costly model to date, the luxury MPV Invicto, will be unveiled on July 5 by the nation's largest automaker, Maruti Suzuki India Limited. Based on the current Toyota Innova Hycross, this new MPV will include some outward design tweaks to set it apart from the wildly popular Toyota vehicle. Prior to recently, it was claimed that this model will be called the Invicto instead of the Maruti Suzuki Engage. As previously reported, the front grille and bumper will only see minor alterations, while the rest of the vehicle will resemble the Innova Hycross virtually perfectly.

The Maruti Suzuki Invicto will have a petrol engine and a petrol-electric hybrid option, just as the Toyota HyCross. A 1987 cc petrol engine will provide 172.99 horsepower for the Invicto.

This four-cylinder engine will be paired with a CVT gearbox and deliver 16.13 kilometres per gallon, as verified by ARAI. The Toyota HyCross's petrol-electric hybrid powerplant will also be included with the Invicto. With a maximum power output of 183.72 bhp, this engine and motor combination gives a certified fuel efficiency of 23.24 kmpl. Pricing-wise, it is most likely to be in line with that of the Toyota Innova Hycross, which costs between Rs. 18.55 and 29.99 lakhs.

Hyundai Exter

Hyundai Motor India, the world's largest automaker based in South Korea, will introduce the Exter, a much awaited micro-SUV, after the Invicto. On July 10, this new micro-SUV will be introduced, going up against the wildly popular Punch micro-SUV from Tata Motors. This new model will have contemporary style, offer a variety of amenities to entice purchasers, and be priced reasonably to quickly capture market share. It is anticipated that Hyundai would price the Exter between Rs 6 Lakh and Rs 10 Lakh when it launches.

The only available powertrain for the Hyundai Exter is a 1.2-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine will have 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT transmission choices, with a maximum output of 114 Nm and 83 horsepower. The Grand i10, Nios, Aura, and naturally aspirated Venue all use the same engine that Hyundai also provides with other cars.

Kia Seltos Facelift

Last but not least, Kia Motors India, a Hyundai subsidiary, will introduce the much anticipated facelifted version of its wildly successful mid-size SUV, the Seltos. The front fascia of the 2018 Kia Seltos facelift will be modified, and new headlights with updated daytime running LEDs and fog lamps will be added.

The next facelifted model will also get a completely new front bumper with an expanded and updated silver skid plate. The Seltos facelift will add updated LED taillamps and a connected LED light strip that spans the width of the boot lid to the back.

Similar to its brother, the Hyundai Creta, the 2019 Seltos facelift will include a panoramic sunroof, which is one of the greatest modifications. In the Seltos, Kia currently only provides a sunroof with one sheet of glass. The 2023 Kia Seltos facelift will differ from the current model in that the instrument console and touchscreen infotainment system will be arranged differently in the cockpit.

The 1.5-liter petrol engine, which has 115 horsepower and 144 Nm of torque, and the 1.5-liter turbo-diesel engine, which has 116 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, will both be carried over into the Seltos facelift. Also predicted from Kia is the return of the turbo-petrol engine in the Seltos, albeit tuned for 160 horsepower and 253 Nm of torque rather than 140 horsepower and 242 Nm. The new turbo-petrol engine may also be mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox in addition to a 6-speed iMT. Although the corporation has not yet provided the exact launch dates, we may anticipate that they will occur in the middle to end of July. Regarding the price, we should anticipate a modest increase.
