ONDC offers 50% and more discounts on food orders from Zomato and Swiggy starting June 18

Delhi : India is undergoing a digital transition, with one facet of this shift being the growing practise of ordering food online. People like the ease of ordering their favourite restaurant meals and having them delivered right to their homes. However, Swiggy and Zomato dominate the online meal delivery sector, leading many customers to feel that pricing on these platforms are substantially higher. However, if you want to purchase meals online while simultaneously saving money, there is good news. ONDC, India's non-profit open e-commerce network, has lately offered a unique offer.

The Open Network for Digital Commerce, or ONDC, has launched its first network partner promotion, "Super Saver Sundays." Beginning on June 18, 2023, which also happens to be Father's Day, this effort seeks to give consumers with exceptional deals and discounts.

ONDC is said to have teamed with Magicpin, Paytm, and Phonepe's Pincode to generate exciting new discount options for clients. The forthcoming Super Saver Sunday is likely to be the first of many similar events, with a focus on providing high-quality hyperlocal delivery alternatives at low pricing. While the involvement of the initial partners has been confirmed, other partners are expected to join in the future.

"We are thrilled to see this Sunday initiative by network participants, as it will propel more and more consumers to try this new way of digital commerce," said T Koshy, CEO of ONDC, in a statement after announcing the incentives. We welcome such endeavour by our network's users as well as vendors and their special deals since it will produce an engaging experience that goes beyond standard online buying.

The ONDC adds that on Super Saver Sunday, partner businesses will provide special discounts on a selection of food delivery orders from well-known restaurants including McDonald's, WowMomo, Pizza Hut, Barbeque Nation, and Barista as well as Rebel Food brands (Faasos, Oven Story, and Behrouz Biryani). Customers can get discounts of at least 50% or more on a selection of culinary goods. and maybe ascend much farther.

Users may look for ONDC on shopping applications like Magicpin, Paytm, and Pincode to take advantage of the discounts. Here are the steps for placing an order with ONDC.

How to place an ONDC order

The ONDC does not have a separate app for ordering food. Therefore, users of the partner applications Paytm, PhonePe, and Magicpin may place food orders.

On Paytm, NDC

• Activate the Paytm app.
  
• Click the "Search" button.
• In the search box, enter "ONDC".
• Select "ONDC Store" by tapping it.
• Choose the meal that you want to order.
• Include your payment information and delivery address.
• Select "Place Order" by tapping it.

On PhonePe, ONDC

• Tap the "Pincode" icon on the PhonePe app after opening it.
  
• Find the restaurant or food item you wish to order by searching.
• Choose the food item and put it in your shopping cart.
• Enter your payment information and delivery address.
• Select "Place Order" by tapping it.
• When you place an order, a confirmation message will be sent to you. The app allows you to keep tabs on the progress of your order.

Magicpin ONDC

• Install the Magicpin app, then launch it.
  
• Select "Food" from the menu.
• Choose the meal that you want to order.
  
• Include your payment information and delivery address.
• Select "Order Now" by tapping it.
