Delhi : A new version of the Astor SUV from MG India might arrive shortly. Through a tweet on the microblogging website Twitter, the automaker teased. According to the firm, the forthcoming version of the MG Astor is the "most advanced SUV in its class." But no specifics regarding the automobile were disclosed.

"Prepare yourself for the unmistakable blend of technology and elegance. In its class, the most advanced SUV is here, according to MG India's tweet.

The starting price of the latest MG Astor SUV (ex-showroom) is 10.81 lakh. A 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, automated temperature control, steering-mounted controls, and a wireless charger are among its features. The SUV has a panoramic sunroof. Six airbags, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake, auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers, an AI-powered assistant, and a Level 2 ADAS suite are among the safety features on the MG Astor.

MG Astor: What the revised model could have to offer

The revised MG Astor model is expected to get a larger touchscreen infotainment system, most likely a 14-inch device like the one found on the MG Hector facelift. While the modified Astor's instrument cluster may have new software and visuals.

The revised Astor SUV, like the Hector facelift, may have features like as intelligent indicators, auto vehicle lock/unlock, motorised tailboard and eight-color ambient lighting with voice commands.

MG Astor performance

A 1.5-liter normally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.3-liter turbocharged petrol engine power the MG Astor SUV. The business has increased the cost of the MG Astor by between 20,000 and 41,800. The Style MT version of the vehicle now has a starting price of 10.81 lakh, an increase of 23,800. The Savvy CVT model, on the other hand, has undergone the smallest price increase of 20,000 and is currently offered at a starting price of 17 lakh.

The car's petrol engine is paired with either a five-speed manual or a CVT gearbox and is said to produce 108bhp and 144Nm of torque. The turbo engine, on the other hand, is said to produce 138 horsepower and 220 Newton-meters of torque. It is connected with a torque converter with six speeds.
