Delhi : The SU7, Xiaomi's first electric car, was just debuted in China. The SU7 is an electric sedan that comes in two configurations: one with Lidar and the other without. Customers can choose between two powertrain choices available to this vehicle: Rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD). Upon its sale, the electric car will be offered in three distinct variants: SU7, SU7 Pro, and SU7 Max.

The RWD model will have a single 295 horsepower electric motor mounted on the back axle. On the other hand, the AWD model will have a greater power output of 663 horsepower. A 295-horsepower electric motor on the front axle and a 368 bhp electric motor on the rear axle make up the AWD powertrain system.A 295 horsepower electric motor on the front axle and a 368 bhp electric motor on the rear axle make up the AWD powertrain system.

The pricier models with bigger battery packs will be outfitted with NMC battery packs from CATL, while the more affordable lower trims will use LFP battery packs from BYD. Electric vehicles are often hefty because of the large weight of the battery; the Xiaomi SU7 is no exception, weighing 2,205 kg for the highest trim level and 1,980 kg for the base versions at curb weight. The peak speed of the higher models will be 265 kmph, while the cheaper variants would only reach 210 kmph.
