Delhi : Hero MotoCorp has introduced the Xtreme 200S 4 Valve model in India, with an ex-showroom price of 1.41 lakh. The newly released Xtreme 160R 4V and the new Hero Xtreme 200S 4V both have four-valve technology, which gives the fully fairing motorcycle greater power and features. The new four-valve model costs around 6,000 more than the presently available Xtreme 200S two-valve.

The upgraded 200 cc four-valve, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected motor powers the new Hero Xtreme 200S 4V. The four-valve engine now produces 17.35 Nm of maximum torque at 6,500 rpm and 18.8 horsepower at 8,000 rpm. The motor now produces 6% more power and 5% more torque compared to its predecessor.

The same 5-speed gearbox is used, but the company claims that it has been improved for higher tractive effort, acceleration, strength, and durability. Ranjivjit Singh, Chief Business Officer of Hero MotoCorp's India BU, commented on the launch: "The Hero Xtreme 200S displays our concentrated approach for our premium sports sector. Hero Xtreme 200S 4V is an all-day sports motorcycle that flawlessly blends urban and athletic performance, making it a true masterpiece for riders. For our premium items, we have effectively constructed a horizontal strategy spanning the adventure, touring, and streetfighter segments, and we have gotten a resoundingly positive response from customers.

We are still confident that our most recent product, the Xtreme 200S 4V, will significantly boost the popularity of this market and forge strong bonds with consumers. The 2023 Hero Xtreme 200S 4V has been upgraded, and it now has a split handlebar for more comfort on extended rides. There is also a new rear tyre hugger. The motorcycle is equipped with twin LED headlights with LED DRLs and LED taillights with distinctive-looking light guides. Along with the LCD instrument console, the bike also has Bluetooth connectivity and features like turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts.

In contrast to the Xtreme 160R 4V, which has USD front forks, the Xtreme 200S 4V still employs telescopic forks up front. A 130 mm wide radial rear tyre and a monoshock with 7 steps of adjustment are included on the back. Single-channel ABS is still a standard feature of the Xtreme 200S 4V. The dual-tone colours Moon Yellow, Panther Black Metallic, and Stealth Edition are offered for the fully-faired motorbike. At the same price point, the bike competes with the Suzuki Gixxer SF and the Yamaha R15 S.
