Delhi : The five-seater Maruti Suzuki Jimny and the three-row Maruti Suzuki Fronx are two new SUV models that Maruti Suzuki India plans to introduce to its lineup. Two SUVs were displayed on January 12 at the Auto Expo 2023. On the same day that they began taking reservations, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx received its first 13,000 orders.

The Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz, XL6, Grand Vitara, and Jimny will all be offered for sale alongside the Fronx at Maruti's Nexa dealerships. The Fronx, like many other Maruti vehicles, is built on the Heartect platform and is equipped with a number of safety features. 

Debut of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx in India

In the first or second week of April, we anticipate the Fronx's introduction in India. Jimny and it will be unveiled together.

Price of a Maruti Suzuki Fronx in India

We anticipate the Fronx price in India to start at Rs 6.75 lakh and reach as high as Rs 11 lakh according on the variations, features, and specifications (ex-showroom).

There are five different versions of the Fronx available: Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha.

Car Features: Maruti Suzuki Fronx

Maruti has recently been equipping its vehicles with amenities that set the bar for their respective classes. This is also true of the Fronx, which has a NEXWave grille, LED multi-reflector headlights with LED DRLs, automated headlamps, LED rear combo lamps, a shark fin antenna, a spoiler, and 16-inch precision-cut alloy wheels, among other bells and whistles.

A 9-inch HD Smart Play Pro+ infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, an Arkamys surround sound system, automatic climate control, a head-up display with turn-by-turn navigation, a 360-degree view camera, a wireless charger, and Suzuki Connect with more than 40 connectivity features are all included in the cabin's dual-tone finish.

The Fronx has many safety features, as we already said. It boasts six airbags, ESP with rollover mitigation, hill hold assist, and ABS with EBD and child-seat anchors for ISOFIX, among others.

Technical Information on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx

Two engine choices are available for the Fronx: the K12N 1.2-liter Dual-Jet Dual-VVT petrol and the K10C 1.0-liter Turbo Boosterjet petrol. The K12N engine may be combined with either a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT, and it has a maximum output of 90PS and a maximum torque of 113Nm. The K10C engine produces 148Nm of peak torque and 100PS of maximum power when mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission (with paddle shifters).

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx mileage has not yet been made public by the automaker.

The SUV has a 2,520mm long wheelbase and measures 3,995mm long, 1,765mm wide, and 1,550mm tall. A 308-litre boot is included.
