Delhi : To change the city's EV environment, the Municipal Corporation of Kanpur has partnered with Tata Power EV Charging Solutions. These charging stations will feature two charging points as part of the Memorandum of Understanding that was signed by the two, increasing the total number of charging possibilities to twelve. Additionally, around 400 charging stations are planned to be built in Uttar Pradesh's state and national parks.

There will be a total of 12 charging stations across the city, each with two charging guns. EV owners may use the Tata Power EZ Charge smartphone app to find these charging stations. "We have continuously formed numerous partnerships with both government and private organisations to advance sustainable mobility initiatives nationwide. Our partnership with the Kanpur Municipal Corporation is a significant stride in our journey," said Virendra Goyal, Head of Business Development (EV Charging), Tata Power.

"The advanced and dependable charging solutions offered by Tata Power will definitely accelerate our shift to a sustainable future," said Shivasharanappa G N, the municipal commissioner of Kanpur Municipal Corporation.

Additionally, the government of Uttar Pradesh plans to provide EV charging stations in a number of municipal towns, including Prayagraj, Lucknow, and Agra. Furthermore, there will be 200 charging stations erected in well-known tourist locations like Varanasi-Ayodhya and Mathura-Vrindavan, in addition to 100 charging stations at cultural sites. Additionally, around 400 charging stations are planned to be built in Uttar Pradesh's state and national parks.

Tata Power Arm In order to establish electric charging stations in six key sites, Tata Power EV Charging Solutions and Kanpur Municipal Corporation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The zonal offices at Krishna Nagar's Zones 2 and 5, Sen Para Police Chauki between Apna Ghar Ashram and Road, Moti Jheel Parking / Kargil Park, the area around Gol Chouraha's Medical College, and the Children's Park near OEF at Vijay Nagar Chauraha are some of the city's important locations.
