Coronavirus: All 42 Apple stores in China reopen
Beijing : Apple Inc. has reopened all its 42 Apple stores in China after they were closed due to coronavirus outbreak.
China happens to be the third biggest retail market for Apple and the closure of stores had shown significant loss to the company.
Since shutting the stores, Apple gradually reopened them and 38 of the 42 stores were operating as of last week. The final four will open their doors on Friday local time, according to Appleās website. An Apple spokesman confirmed the move.
Other than China, Apple was also forced to close their 17 stores in Italy earlier this week, due to the COVID 19 outbreak. Meanwhile, Apple has also started creating more space in its retail stores and canceling some classes to limit Covid-19 transmission.
As a precautionary measure, the Apple has allowed its employees to work remotely so that they can avoid people coming in each other's contact.
