New Delhi : Indian Achiever’s Forum felicitated Mr. Shiv Shanker Singh, CEO Gramin Vikas Trust as “BEST CEO OF THE YEAR AWARD” among the selected few from this respective field & region for his outstanding contribution towards progress and development of Indian economy and society. 

Mr. Shiv Sankar Singh currently holds the position of CEO of Gramin Vikas Trust, (Established by KRIBHCO, Government of India). He started his career as Research Associate at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology in 1993. In 1995, he has joined National Tree Grower Cooperative Federation of National Dairy Development Board, Rajasthan where he has facilitated the process of waste land management through organizing and strengthening tree grower’s cooperative societies. In 2001, he was leading the team at Foundation for Ecological Security (FES), Rajasthan towards conservation and restoration of land, water and vegetative resources to create ecological balance and climate resilience through community institutions .  He was involved in managing operations of Reliance Foundation in multiple states as Project Director for bringing social change and improves the livelihood of vulnerable sections through NRM, sustainable agriculture, enabling skills and organizing producer companies.

Apart from these Mr.  Singh has also extended his expertise in managing various projects towards socio-economic development and environmental sustainability. He is also involved currently in policy frame-working as Board of Governors of Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA),Gujarat. 

Mr.  Shiv Shanker Singh has a vast & enriching experience in the area of bringing economic empowerment, environmental sustainability also the topmost experts in the field of Natural Resource Management, Sustainable Agriculture, Ecological Restoration, Biodiversity Conservation, Climate Resilience, Social Change, and Community Mobilization in the country.
