TCS announces salary hike for second time in six months

New Delhi : India’s largest IT-company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced another salary hike for their employees within six months. Issuing an official statement, the company said that the new hike will come to effect from April 2021 onwards.

"This step is a reflection of our steadfast commitment to our associates," Moneycontrol quoted a TCS spokesperson as saying.

According to reports, this will be the second salary hike by the company in a time duration of six months. Last year, the increment cycle was delayed amid the coronavirus pandemic.

It has been learned that the company will be giving a salary hike of 12-14 per cent this time.

The Mumbai- based company has more than 4 lakh employees who will benefit from the pay hike decision by the company. Notably, TCS became the first IT Services company to announce increment for FY22.
