New Delhi : A number of employees have been fired from Google in recent days. According to a report, the company vanished entire Python team to reduce their costs by hiring less expensive staff outside the United States. The media report mentioned that the company is planning to set up the new team in Munich, Germany.

As per the report, a Social.coop post on Mastodon received comments from one of the ex-members of the Google Python team who was highly disappointed by the lay-offs. He mentioned that their two decades at the company was best job ever, but he is disheartened to learn that each and every member of his team, including the manager, has been laid off and replaced by remote workers.

It has been noted that the US Python team had less than ten members and used to handle major segment of Google's Python ecosystem.

The new layoffs have been reported after reports which claimed that Google has cut its staff from the real estate and finance department as well.

Google had also let go of hundreds of workers across multiple domains, including engineering, hardware and assistant teams.
