Uttarakhand Investor Summit 2018: All you need to know
Dehradun : Uarakhand Investor Summit 2018: Uttarakhand is all set to host Investor Summit 2018 on 7th and 8th October in Dehradun. A total of 12 sessions will be held in two day-time. Each of the session will be chaired by the Union Minister or subject expert to give investors better understanding on different segments like tourism, infrastructure, construction, film industry, agriculture, industrial, health, wellness, micro, small and medium industries.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also address the inaugural program, accompanying him will be Chief Minister Trivandrum Singh Rawat, CII’s DG Chandrajit Banerjee, Ambassador of Japan and the Czech Republic, and Singapore’s Minister S. Ishwaran.
First Day of the Uttarakhand Investor Summit 2018
On the first day (October 7), there will be four sessions of construction, tourism, infrastructure and Czech Republic. All these sessions will run parallel in different halls. In the Czech Republic, Milan Ambassador Milan Hovorka and the chief secretary of the Finance Department of Czech Republic will address the gathering. The second phase will be the session of Film, Information and Technology and Japan. Apart from Ambassador Kenji Hiramatsu in Japan’s session, Toru Umachi, Takashi and Suchi Umaiki of Japanese delegation will also address the investors.
Investors will be taken to Rishikesh in the evening where famous singer Anuradha Paadwal will present Ganga Aarti.
Second Day of the Uttarakhand Investor Summit 2018
On the second day (October 8), a total of three sessions will be held in the morning. They will be run in parallel to agriculture and industrial, health and wellness and MSME and CII sessions. In the second phase, subject experts will discuss education and start-up topics in the afternoon.
A closing session will be held in the afternoon.
Uttarakhand Investor Summit 2018 arrangements
The government is expecting over 1600 investors from different part of the world; the food has been arranged by the authorities while they will own their own living for the two days.
12 rooms have been prepared at the venue. Here, the industrialists will meet with the officials of different departments to discuss investment, such as availability of land, information related to related industries etc.
Expectations from the Uttarakhand Investor Summit 2018
With the summit a total investment of over Rs 77,000 crores in being targeted by the Uttarakhand government.
