Industrialist Rahul Bajaj cremated with full state honours in Pune

Pune : Industrialist Rahul Bajaj was cremated in Pune with full state honours in the attendance of various businessmen and politicians.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had earlier announced that the cremation of veteran industrialist Rahul Bajaj will be done with full state honours.

Rahul Bajaj's sons Rajeev and Sanjiv performed the last rites at the electric crematorium at Vaikunth Smashanbhoomi in Pune.

Allowing people to pay their last respect to the industrialist, his mortal remains were kept at his residence and Bajaj Plant in Pune.

Rahul Bajaj passed away on Saturday at a private hospital after losing his battle against several illness. He was 83 years old.
