SSC CGL Exam 2017: Over 30.26 lakh candidates registered for Combined Graduate Level exam
New Delhi : The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has today closed the window for accepting online applications submission for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam 2017, after extending the last date from June 16 to June 19.
Earlier, June 16, 2017 was the last date to apply for SSC CGL exam, this was further extended till June 19, 2017. The official added, “We extended the deadline previously after noticing the sudden traffic on SSC CGL 2017 registration page. The server IS hanging due to this last minute rush, and nothing else.”
Here are the SSC CGL exam 2017 official notifications:
1. It has come to the Notice of the Commission that some of the applicants have faced technical problems in filling on-line application forms for CGLE, 2017 during the last two days. Keeping in view this inconvenience caused to the applicants, the Commission has, in the interest of the applicants, decided to extend the last date of filling of on-line application forms for CGLE, 2017 till 5.00 PM on 19.6.2017.
2. As regard payments made through challans, it is informed that in those cases where challans have been generated by the applicants before 5.00 PM on 19.6.2017, they could make the payment to the designated Branches of SBI using this challan within the working hours of the Bank upto 21.6.2017.
According to official latets official Notification by SSC "The Commission has received a total of 30,26,598 on-line applications for Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017.The window for accepting on-line applications for the said examination has been closed at 5.00 PM on 19.6.2017."
SSC conducts the CGLE on behalf of various departments and ministries that function under the central government.
