New Delhi : Kendriya Vidyalaya in India will organize the 6th edition of the national inter-school CCCC Cryptic Crossword Contest tomorrow, i.e on July 10, 2018. Popularly known as CCCC, the contest will be hosted by KV of Delhi Cantt and will be launched by the Governor of Bihar, Satyapal Malik.

CCCC inter-school competition is a two-stage event which first begun in 2013. Likewise, the first stage is organized across the country. In the second, the winners of the first round compete with each other to reach the grand finale. The school team which wins the grand finale lifts the National Crossword Champion trophy.

Who can participate in Cryptic Crossword Contest 2018 

Students from classes 9 to 12 can participate in the contest and all teams will be awarded certificates along with cash prizes for winners.

The launch will witness four NCR Rounds for Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, and Ghaziabad at the same venue. There will be 37 more city rounds in the July-September period before the team for the Grand Finale will be decided.

On July 6, official partners KVS and NVS conducted their inter-school crossword contests to select their best teams who will represent them in the national championship.

CCCC had been recognized by the Limca Book of Records as the biggest contest of its kind in India. The contest is held by Extra-C, a civil society initiative based in Patna, Bihar
